Are You A M- I- T- C- H????

Finally I made it to my friend' s place.  I am sure that I am probably suspect numero uno for a few different reasons.  One, being the fact that my phone number is all over her phone records.  Two, being the fact my DNA is all over the car and all over her; and in her....wink, wink.  I watch CSI too people.  And maybe, just maybe, the fact that a guy "who fits my description" was seen fleeing from the scene of the crime.  I may as well sent the cops a photo of me, saying I did it.
I guess my friend lives modestly and he' s a single dude like me so he hasn't said I do yet.  He really doesn't seem to be in any rush either.  I have known him since childhood and we went to all the same schools growing up.  He was my road dog; whatever that means.  We never had an argument or fight but I don't think dudes typically Mitch out.  Well,of course, unless you are a M- I- T- C- H!  He's pretty cool.  I only hang out with the cream of the crop.  I really have no where else to go here in the city so it works out.
I rang the doorbell a few different  times while I was wringing out my shirt and taking off my socks and shoes.  Fuck it; he can't hear the bell so I am gonna knock.
"Hey open the door mother fucker!" I shouted.
I heard movement as though he was making his way to the front door.  Still waiting impatiently, he finally opened the door.
     "What's up G?" I asked.
Na man his name is really Gee.  Check his birth certificate.  Not really but...
"Hey man are you alright?" he asked.

"Well, I have definitely been better and never worse," I responded.

"Damn keep your head up.  I couldn't even imagine being like a fugitive and shit," he replied.
"Do you even know if they are officially looking for you?" he asked.

"Not really but come on man...," I said.

"Not to be rude or disrespectful but somebody offed her, and since it's not you, then she has at least one enemy," he explained.

After all, he was right.  Who did it?  I don't know of any exes that would do it.  Or at least, they don't have the balls to do it cause they know I would come off the top rope with a wicked elbow.  S- M- A- S- H!!!

What Happened???

Aww man, I'm getting too old for this.  The dog was closing in on me so I dug in deep for that extra burst of energy.  I remember, as a kid, walking through neighborhoods to get to the park for a pick up football game.  Then, all of a sudden, there's of s chain dragging across the street and the rustling of dry Autumn leaves being stepped on and pushed around.  DOG!!! Time to run.  Just when I hit high stride, I looked back and the dog had given up and turned back for home.  I still got it.  I continued to walk.  Finally, I was within a block of my friend's house.  I can't believe she's dead.  Even though I seen her with my own eyes.  I have loved her for a long time now and we were just beginning to be able to start thinking about a serious relationship.  There were a few obstacles in the way before so it is very frustrating for things to go down like this.  I'm a one woman man and i have always been that way.  I actually valued our companionship and our friendship so this is very hard for me.  Why would anyone want her dead?  Well, I take that back...  I can't tell you everything right now.  I don't know who to trust.  Why was my life spared?  I don't believe this was  just a random act of violence or even a petty theft.  I still have a wallet full of money....

When It Rains, You Get Wet...

With the sound of police sirens fading off in the distance, I ran until I felt that I was far enough from the scene that I could now walk.  Oh man, I'm panting heavily because I'm out of breath.  I started getting that light-headed feeling.  This is too much stuff going on at once.  Where do you go when you have nowhere to go?  Hmmm, I'm about to find out!  It's bad enough that I need to figure out who set me up to clear my name.  But, I also want to make sure that whoever did this pays for what they have done.  I  couldn't have done this!  I respect my life and the lives of others way too much.  Of course I have gotten mad, infuriated sometimes but so have you.  I don't have a malicious bone in my body.  Whoever did this better hope the cops get a hold of them before I do!  As I hustled down the street, every time a car passed, I got that uneasy feeling; a knot in my stomach.  Not only do I have to watch out for the police, whoever did this, might come back for me.  And they have the upper hand because I don't know who they are.  Alright, I have to figure out a roundabout way to go to my friends' house.  Just as I found my way to his neighborhood, there was a loud clap of thunder.  It was so unexpected and loud that it made my heart skip a beat.  The sky looked ominous and moments after the thunder, the rain started pouring down.  Fuck, I have to run.  I was dashing from one overhang to the next.  But, before long, my clothes were drenched so I started walking as though I was taking a casual stroll through the park.  I don't think this day could get any better.  To make my travel time go a little quicker, I began crossing through backyards.  All of a sudden, there was a break in the clouds and, by this point, the rain had subsided to a light drizzle.  I hopped the fence that surrounded this one backyard and...
"Woof woof woof," a dog as big as a horse barked.
Did I tell you that I grew up running from deranged dogs?  To my credit, I haven't been caught to this day.  Here we go!  I took off like an Olympic sprinter...
